HOW TO DONATE

All donations should be made out to CarePoint Health Systems, Inc.

We believe that everyone deserves access to the care they need, and we work tirelessly to make this a reality, but we cannot do it alone. As a non-profit organization, we rely on the generosity of our community to help us continue our mission to treat with compassion and lead with innovation to improve the health of the communities we serve.

Your donation, no matter how big or small, will make a real difference in the lives of those we serve. Your donation is tax-deductible and will be put to immediate use in supporting our programs and services. Your gift will make a real difference in addressing healthcare disparities and building healthier communities.
About CarePoint Health

CarePoint Health is rapidly evolving as a non-profit healthcare provider as CarePoint Health Systems, Inc., a non- profit entity that now owns three hospitals:  Hoboken University Medical Center, Christ Hospital and Bayonne Medical Center. This is a monumental achievement as this conversion allows these three hospitals to come together as a non-profit healthcare system for the first time in over their 150 year history.

The three CarePoint Health hospitals have been the pillars of healthcare for the community, and during the COVID pandemic, saved thousands of lives. Approximately 60% of the patients cared for in these hospitals are uninsured, underinsured, and underserved people in Hudson County. These hospitals have taken on the responsibility of providing quality and equitable free care to thousands of patients. Annually, the hospitals see over 50,000 charity care patients in emergency rooms and the Neighborhood Health Centers.

MISSION

The launch of the Just Health Foundation is a significant step forward as we expand our efforts to provide care, particularly for the underserved and often overlooked populations in Hudson County. The foundation’s mission aligns perfectly with our vision of promoting inclusivity, social responsibility, and equitable access to high quality care and I am looking forward to what we are going to be able to accomplish through the efforts of the Just Health Foundation.” President and CEO of CarePoint Health, Achintya Moulick, MD, MBA, MCh.

CarePoint Health sees amongst the largest number of uninsured patients in NJ at 50,000 and 1 in every 7th patient in the Emergency Department is uninsured. Hospitals have had very little support from the state unlike other centers, so the community NEEDS to support the community hospitals as care has become local.

The Just Health Foundation’s primary objective is to bolster the work at CarePoint Health’s hospitals and will seek to raise funds in order to enhance key areas such as the Comprehensive Neuroscience Center, Center for Personalized Health, Cancer Programs, the Neighborhood Health Center, Infusion Centers, Ambulatory Center, Cardiac Rehabilitation and additional initiatives to provide greater access to compassionate and quality care to the communities being served in Hudson County and surrounding areas. Community needs should be met by Community Hospitals.
